Nutty Bean-Rice Burgers

Ingredients
Onions, green (scallion), 2 Tbsp, choppedButter, unsalted, 2 tbsp Soybeans, cooked and mashed, 1 cupBrown Rice, medium grain, 1 cup Sunflower Seeds, without salt, 1 cup, hulled and groundCheddar Cheese, .5 cup, shreddedWhole Wheat Flour, 0.25 cupCatsup, 2 tbspKikkoman Soy Sauce, 2 tspBasil, dried .5 tspEgg, fresh, 2 largePepper, black, .5 tspSalt, to tasteGarlic, 10 grams
Directions
1) Saute scallions and garlic in 1 Tbsp butter for 2-3 minutes.
2) Mix with remaining ingredients (other than second Tbsp butter). Form 8 patties, approx. 1/2 inch thick.
3) Heat remaining butter in large skillet. Cook patties until well browned, turning once. Transfer to platter. Garnish as desired.
Makes 8 patties, 1 serving = 2 patties
