Sweet and Savory Popcorn

Ingredients
1/2 cup unpopped corn kernels1/4 cup vegetable oil1 tsp salt1/4 cup sugar1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
Directions
Put popcorn, oil, and salt in a large kettle. Cover with a tight lid and cook over medium heat. When corn starts popping, shake the pot in a back-and-forth motion. As soon as popping slows, remove from heat. Sprinkle five-spice powder and sugar onto popcorn.
Serves 6.
