Spaghetti

Ingredients
1 tbsp canola oil 1 1/2 lb ground beef lean1 cup chopped onion 1 cup fresh or canned mushrooms3 cloves garlic minced1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder1 tbsp italian seasoning1 tbsp salt1 tsp pepper1 qt diced tomatoes1 can tomato paste1 tsp sugar1 box whole grain pasta- spagetti noodles
Directions
place oil in large pan heat to med high heat add onions and ground meat breaking to smaller peices add garlic and all seasonings. after meat is cooked add tomatoes and tomato paste and mushrooms. add sugar, taste to see if it need more spices adding your nutmeg last fresh grated is the best. Can add carrots and yellow squash and zucchini. let simmer until you have a nice thich sauce. will feed 8 hungry people.
