Seven Layer Salad

SALAD:1 medium head lettuce or lettuce mix1 bunch green onions cleaned and sliced1-12 oz pkg grape tomatoes halved2-6 oz cans water chestnuts1-14 oz bag frozen peas 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese1 lb bacon cooked drained and crumbledDRESSING:1 tbsp creamy peppercorn ranch dressing mix2 tbsp water1/2 cup sour cream1/2 cup Kraft olive oil mayonaise
Mix the dressing ingredients and set aside. In a straight sided clear glass bowl, layer the incredients in order given starting with the lettuce and ending with the bacon. Whisk the sour cream and mayonaise into the dressing mix until smooth and well blended. Serve the dressing on the side.
