Claire's Maple Granola

Ingredients
7 cups old fashioned rolled oats1 cup flaked coconut (not sweetened)1 cup wheat germ1 cup sliced almonds1 cup walnuts1 cup sunflower seeds without salt1/2 teaspoon salt1-1/4 cups maple syrup3/4 cup vegetable oil1 tablespoon vanilla extract1 cup raisins2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Combine all dry ingredients in large bowl mixing well. (Not raisins)
Whisk wet ingredients.
Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and mix well.
Spread out on two-three large cookie sheets with rims.
Bake 2 hours.
After one hour, rotate cookie sheets on racks.
Remove from oven and cool completely on sheets.
After cooking, add raisins, dried cranberries or dried apricots when mixture is cool.
Store in air tight container.
One serving is 1/2 cup.
