Polish Turkey Sausage, Kraut and Apples

Ingredients
14 oz butterball turkey polska kielbasa1 lb. sauerkraut3 small apples sliced thinly1/4 cup brown sugar1/4 tsp salt1/8 tsp. pepper1/2 cup apple juice
Directions
Rinse sauerkraut and squeeze dry. Cut sausage into 2 inch pieces. Put 1/2 the sauerkraut in the bottom of your slow cooker. Add the sausage pieces on top. Continue to layer remaining ingredients in order listed. Top with remaining kraut. Do not stir the layers. Cover. Cook on high for 4 hours, or 6-7 hours on low. Stir before serving.

    I made this about a week ago, and it was very good. I have a very picky boyfriend that hates sauerkraut. I made it and he loved it!! It is so easy. I didn't use the brown sugar because I didn't have any, but it was still awesome. Thanks Wilben, I will be making this again and again - 3/1/10
