Ingredients
565 grams ground steak8 oz. can tomato sauce6 slices melba toast, ground1 T. dry chopped onion1 egg 1 t. saltPepper to tasteDry herbs as desired (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together. Form18 meatballs of 50 grams each. Bake 20 minutes in 2 mini muffin tins. Each serving is 3 meatballs.

    these turned out great! i didn't have melba toast so i ground up my grissini bread sticks and tossed that in instead. i like have single serving size meatballs i can just take with me. great recipe - 10/7/09

    From Phase 3 on you are allowed fat (cheese, eggs, bacon, cream...) but very low carbs, so this recipe works really well on Phase 3 of your Hcg diet...so if you're in this phase go ahead and try this delicious recipe! - 8/29/11
