1 lb approx top sirloin, cut in to thin strips2 tbsp oil1 lg tomato, coarsely chopped2 med green pepper, cut in to strips2 tbsp soy sauce1/4 tsp each garlic salt, pepper, sugar1/8 tsp ground ginger1 tbsp cornstarch1/2 c consommé or bouillon (beef)2 c minute white rice
Cook rice, set aside. Brown meat quickly in hot oil. Add tomatoes, green peppers, soy sauce, and seasonings. Cover and cook 10 minutes, add blended consommé and cornstarch to meat and cook 10 minutes. Add rice and let sit until extra liquid is absorbed.
