Pasta with lemon basil garlic cream sauce

Ingredients
10 oz Ronzoni Smart Taste Penne1 cup of water1 lb shrimp or chicken slices5 cloves of garlic, slivered2 lemons, zest set aside & juice set aside10 basil leaves8 oz fat free sour cream1T olive oil1/4t pepper2T Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions.

While pasta is cooking, saute garlic & lemon zest in olive oil. If using shrimp or chicken, add now and cook through. Add in the sour cream , lemon juice and stir in the basil leaves. Cook until melted and slightly thickened. Coat the pasta in the sour cream mixture. If not enough sauce, add in the water to desired texture. Toss with Parmesan cheese & pepper to taste.

    I'm going to give it a try. Only question is, there is no lemon in the calorie calculation and the juice of two lemons seems alot, approx how much lemon juice did you use? - 6/4/10

    Very good. I used shrimp, but I didn't need the water there was plenty of sauce. Next time I think I will add more basil. Thanks! - 8/16/09
