Toni's Italian Turkey Meatloaf

1 lb Ground Turkey1/2 cup dry quick cooking oatmeal1 large egg beaten1- 6 oz. can tomato paste1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce2 cloves fresh garlic - crushed1 Tbsp Onion powder1 Tbsp Italian herb seasoning
Preheat oven to 375
Beat egg.
Mix in tomato paste, worcestershire sauce, crushed garlic, onion and spices till well blended.
Add ground turkey and oatmeal, mix until well blended
Put in bread loaf pan
Spread ketchup over top
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes (oven times may vary)

The recipe calls for way too much onion powder! We were all left with such an oniony aftertaste in our mouths that we chewed gum after dinner to get rid of it. Would be better to use chopped onion. Everyone in the family hated it so much that we threw out the remainder after one meal!! - 12/17/12
