Gluten Free Apple crisp

Ingredients
6 peeled apples1/2 cup Sugar, Splenda or Agave Nectar2 TBSP water4 TBSP butter or margarine1 cup quick rolled oats (GF) 1/2 cup brown sugar, Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, or Agave Nectar1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 cup nuts (optional, I didn't count this in the nutrition data, as I can't have most nuts)1 tsp grated lemon peel (I used 1 tsp lemon juice)
Directions
1. Slice & spread apples in a greased 8x8 in baking pan.
2. Sprinkle with next 2 ingredients
3. Mix & spread reamining ingredients over apples.
4. Bake at 350d for 45 min or until tender.
