Ingredients
1/2 cup chicken broth2 boiled and diced beets1 tomato diced1 cup cabbage sliced thinly1 cup carrots grated1 potato baked or boiled1 tbsp. dill weed2 tbsp. white vinegar1 dinner ham steak cubed (optional) pepper to taste1 Tbsp. sour cream (optional)
Directions
Begin by boiling the beets, carrots, potatoes and cabbage till soft. In a soup pot combine all of the ingredients and simmer for about 20 min. or until flavors are blended.
A tablespoon of sour cream and a small sprig of fresh dill can be garnished on top of the bowl when serving for a fancier occasion.
