6oz Jennie-O Turkey Franks (5 weiners)5 Medium Raw Potatoes, peeled and quartered.1 15 oz Can Tomato Sauce (market brand is fine)Equal part of water.2 Tsp Olive Oil1 small raw onion, sliced1 cup of grated carrots (Optional )
Peel and cut potatoes. Cover with water and set aside.
Slice weiners into bite sized pieces. Place in 3qt pan with olive oil and onions, stir until lightly brown.
Add Tomato Sauce and stir.
Drain potatoes and add to sauce and weiners. Add 1 tomato can of water (It will rinse the can)
The liquid should cover the potatoes.
Cook until potatoes are tender.
Use a fork to smash potatoes into the juice when served.
Makes 5 servings (4 potato quarters ) plus sauce and hot dogs..
