Wheat Germ Pancakes

Ingredients
2 Tbs. lemon juice2 cups fat free milk2 large eggs, lightly beaten1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce2 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. salt1/2 cup wheat germ1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour1 Tbs. ground flax seed
Directions
1. Combine milk and lemon juice, set aside for 5 minutes.
2. Add eggs and apple sauce to the milk mixture, stir well.
3. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well combined.
4. Heat a non-stick griddle or frying pan. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto griddle per pancake. Brown on each side, turning once.

These pancakes freeze and reheat well. Delicious when served with fresh fruit.
Makes approximately 12 pancakes.

    Am I missing something ??? The recipe states 16 servings but in the directions it states that it makes 12 pancakes - 4/25/17
