Turkey Chili for the Slow Cooker

20oz (or whatever sized package you normally buy - 16-20oz is fine) ground turkey1 tbsp olive oil3-4 cloves of garlic, to taste28oz can crushed tomatoes, no salt added1 can black beans, rinsed well1 can kidney beans, rinsed wellChili, cumin, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt to taste (never measured, I just can tell when it tastes right!)Alternate:1.22 lb Trader Joe's Butcher Shop Ground Turkey1 tbsp olive oil3-4 cloves garlic28oz can pinto beans28oz can organic diced tomatoes in juice, undrainedSpices as directed above.
Heat olive oil in pan. Brown meat and garlic until cooked through. Meanwhile, add tomatoes and beans to slow cooker, and turn on low. When meat is done, mix it all together, and season it to your preference. Cook on low 3-4 hours. Serving is about a cup or so.
