Eggless Zucchini Bread

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce1 cup vegetable oil2 cups granulated white sugar2 cups shredded zucchini (peeled or unpeeled)1 Tbsp vanilla extract3 cups all-purpose flour1 tsp each baking powder, baking soda, and salt1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
Directions
Combine all ingredients in order in large mixing bowl. (If desired, add in 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips coated with flour to prevent sinking.) Pour into 2 large greased loaf pans. Bake 45 to 50 minutes in 375 degree oven. Cool 10 minutes in pan then remove to wire rack to cool completely. Note: nutritional information is for recipe without the chocolate chips.

    Tried several recipes ,then I tried tried this...it's wonderful....my grandkids don't like shreds.. I puree the zucchini..it's good for them and they have no clue.... excellent recipe - 7/16/16
