Easy Slow Cooker Lasagna

Ingredients
1.5 lbs ground turkey4 cans hunts tomato sauce, basil garlic and oregeno 8 ounces each1 can great value tomato sauce, 15 ounces1 bag great value italian blend cheese9.6 ounces lasagna noodles (works out to about 15 noodles)1 16 ounce container lowfat cottage cheese5-6 quart slow cooker
Directions
Brown the turkey in your favorite Italian seasoning. Add in all the tomato sauce and let simmer. Break lasagna pieces up and place them on bottom of slow cooker. Mix cottage cheese in with 2/3 of shredded cheese mixture.

Spread 1/3 of cheese mixture on top of noodles and spread 1/4 of turkey/sauce mixture on top of that. Add more noodles, then add 1/3 cheese and 1/4 sauce. Add the last noodles and add the remaining sauce and cheese. Break up the noodles to make them fit in the slow cooker.

Cook on high for about 4 hours or until noodles are tender.

About twenty minutes before serving, sprinkle remaining cheese on top of lasagna and let melt.

This makes about six REALLY BIG servings, at 515 calories per serving. You could cut the servings down and dramatically reduce the calories...just make sure you have plenty of room for leftovers or that you're serving a big bunch!

Add breadsticks and a salad to make this a great, memorable lasagna feast.
