Asian Pork with Fried Rice

Ingredients
Asian Pork:3/4 pound of boneless country style ribs, trimmed and cut into 1/4" strips1 1/2 c. sweet peppers, red and yellow cut into strips1 c. sliced onion1/4 c. thinly sliced carrots1/4 c. thinly sliced celery1 c. thinly sliced red cabbage1 T sesame oil + 1 t.1 t fresh grated ginger root2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced.2 T Sesame Ginger soy Vinegarette (trader joes)salt and pepper to tasteFried Rice:4 cups jasmine rice - prepared with chicken broth and pinch of chinese five spice powder2 slices of bacon cut into very thin strips1/4 med jalapeno minced2 T sesame oil1 T soy sauce5 T chopped scallions
Directions
Cook bacon for rice until very crisp. Drain on coffee filters or paper towels and set aside.

Prepare all the vegetables and meat for both dishes.

In a wok or saute pan, saute pork in 1 T sesame oil until well browned. Add 1 t. more sesame oil with the ginger and garlic. Cook until it the ginger is aromatic, about 2 min. Add vegetable with 3 T of water and cook until tender, but still crisp. Toss in 2T of sesame ginger soy vinegarette

Set aside and wipe pan. Add 2 T. sesame oil. Heat the oil. Add the jalapeno and cook until soft. Turn heat to high and add rice. Cook, stirring frequently until rice is hot. Remove from heat and toss in soy sauce, bacon and scallions

Serve immediately with the pork.
