Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
1 1/2 tsp Olive Oil1 Tbs Garlic, minced28 oz Can chopped Tomatoes2 Tbs Tomato Paste2 tsp Oregano, fresh1 tsp Thyme leaves, freshsalt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large sauce pan, heat oil over med heat; add garlic and saute 2 minutes; add tomatoes, paste, oregano and Thyme, and salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Cool sauce to room temperature before using on pizza.

    Amazing!! I did not have fresh oregano or thyme so I used dried - still amazing flavor! I used this in Bubble UP Pizza (submitted by Clardys on sparkrecipe.com) and took pictures placing the final product on my blog. I have extra of this alread made up and in the freezer for the next pizza night! - 1/1/10
