Pancake Syrup

Ingredients
1 Cup light corn syrup1/2 cup dark brown sugar1/2 cup water1 T butter (optional)2 teaspoons real maple extract
Directions
Mix all ingredients except the maple extract in a medium saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted. Remove from heat and stir in extract. Serve warm or cold. It will thicken as it cools.
