Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats3/4 cup butter or margerine, melted1 cup respberry preserves or jam1 tablespoon water
Directions
Preheat oven to 375
grease 13x9x2 pan
combine mix and oats in bowl, add melted butter and stir until crumbly. Add 1/2 of crumb mixture to pan and press to make bottom crust. combine preserves and water, stir until blended, and spread over crumb mixture in pan.
Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over preserves and pat firmly to make top even.

Bake at 375 deg for 18-23 min. (until top is very light brown) cool, cut into bars, store in airtight container.

    I made this recipe that i saw in Taste of Home(Simple & Delicious)magazine on 10th Sept 2009.Just a little difference in Oven temps and baking.After putting mixture in pan cook for 10 mins at 350 degrees,cooled it for 5 mins,added the jam,sprinkled the rest of the mixture & baked for 25mins.V Nice - 9/15/09
