Thea's Super Vegi Drink

16 oz. - V8 Juice or other tomato juice1/4 head - medium cabbage - red or green2 - medium carrots, cut into small chunks1 - large rib of celery, cut into small chunks1/4 - medium turnip, cut into small chunks1/2 fresh garlic clove1/4 - medium sweet onion, cut into chunks3 - sprigs of fresh parsley1/4 cup - fresh cilantro1 Tbsp. - Mexican Oregano (if you don't have mexican, then regular will work. Mexican has a mor robust flavor)
In a smothie maker (you can use a blender), add juice first. Then add ingredients as I have them listed (ie. cabbage first, carrots second and so on) after you have added all the ingredients, then keep hitting the pulse button on the smoothie maker until all the big chunks are small and the juice is covering (if using a blender, please make the chunks much smaller, you wouldn't want to burn up your bender). After you have pulsed all the vegies into the juice, then blend on low until it starts to look smooth. Turn the machine on high for about two minutes. Now it should be ready. This drink is supposed to be thick, If it won't come through the dispensor on your smoothie maker, add a little water and blend. Serve over crushed ice, or warm.
