Rich and Hearty Drumstick Soup

Ingredients
2 turkey drumsticks (about 1.75 lbs.)3 carrots, peeled and sliced3 stalks celery, thinly sliced1 onion, chopped4 cloves garlic, minced1 tsp. Bell's Seasoning, or 1 tsp. poultry seasoning4 cups organic chicken broth3 cups water (I use spring or filtered)8 oz. uncooked egg noodles1/3 cup parsleySalt & pepper, to taste
Directions
Place drumsticks, carrots, celery, onion, garlic and poultry seasoning in slow cooker; pour in broth and water. Cover; cook on HIGH 5 hours or until meat is falling off bones.

Remove turkey; set aside. Add noodles. Cover; cook 30 minutes more or until noodles are tender. Meanwhile, remove and discard skin and bones from turkey; shred meat.

Return turkey to slow cooker. Cover and cook until turkey is warmed through. Stir in parsley. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    OMG! This soup is out of this world! I tweaked it a little by using four cups of vegetable broth, one can of chicken broth and one half a can of water. I also used four turkey drumsticks (only because I had to use them before they went bad) and it worked out great. I highly recommend this recipe! - 2/11/18
