This sounds good, but you haven't given us any measurements. How many apples, how many raisins, etc? - 2/21/09

I used 2 cups of cut up apples and 1 small box 1.5 oz of raisins. I'm not sure why that didn't show on the recipe. If you click on Ingredients Details, it shows all the measurements. I can't change anything, so maybe I didn't enter it right. Thanks for the information.

What is a Mini delight? - 7/7/09
Reply from HARRINGTON5 (7/10/09)
Mini Delights are small bite size crispy multi grain cakes made by Quaker. It is 90 calories for the whole pack. I just use 1or 2. They are drizzled with chocolate or carmel and great as a snack by themselves.

This turned out fantastic! I sliced the apples very thinly just as I would for pie and it didn't need crust! I think I'll investigate a natural thickener that won't add too many calories. I like it saucey! =) Awesome dessert! - 2/8/09

I'm so glad you enjoyed this. If you find something to make it thicker, I would be interested. This is very tasty, but yes, the sauce is thin.

Is "Smart Buttery Spread" a brand name? - 1/13/10

Yes, but you can use any heart healthy butter; there are several different brand names in the store.

I may have used too much water because I wasn't exactly sure of how much to use. Could you possibly give a measuring estimate, because it would really help. Other than that, it was still very tasty!! - 9/28/09

It really depends how haow many apples you have in the pan. I just put in enough to barely cover them. If it looks like too much while you are simmering, just pour some off. You want it to be so low it will thicken a little as it cooks. It also gets thicker after it cools and I even eat it cold.
