Old Fashioned Pancakes

Ingredients
1.5 c flour3.5 tsp. Baking Powder1 tsp. salt1 tbsp. sugar1.25 c. Milk1 large egg3 tbsp. melted butter
Directions
In a large bowl sift together all the dry ingredients. (flour, baking powder, salt, sugar).

In a small bowl stir together the wet ingredients. (egg, butter, milk).

Make a well in the dry ingredients, and slowly pour the wet mixture in.

Mix well.

Then cook about 4-5 minutes each cake on each side on Medium-low heat.

    I've been looking for a pancake recipe. If you make smaller pancakes they go farther. You can also use whole wheat and olive oil instead of butter. - 9/24/09

    They taste even better whenyou add a pinch of nutmeg and a tsp or tbsp of cinnamon to the recipe, depending onhow much you like cinnamon. My sister adds a tbsp of pumpkin spice to hers and tops them with soft apples with a cinnamonsugar drizzle. :P
