lean ground beef, celery, carrots, onion, clove of garlic, canned green beans, petit chopped tomatoes, barley, beef bouillion to taste (about golf ball size) additional water to fill 8 qt soup pan
brown and drain ground beef. chop onions and garlic. add to meat and cook till clear in color. add chopped celery and carrots and add to beef misture. add about 1 qt water and chopped tomatoes. simmer ingredients until tender. add green beans and bouillon. bring to boil and add barley. cook until barley is done and vegetables are all tender.
