1.5 lbs of 90/10 ground beef1 medium onion chopped2 oz McCormick Regular Chili spices (@ 1-1/2 packets)28 oz Canned Tomatoes - blended1 tsp ground cumin1/2 tsp ground Cayenne Red Pepper1/2 Green or red bell pepper1 Jalapeno peppper1 can, 16 oz, Bush's Best Chili Beans, Medium sauce1 can, 16 oz, Bush's Best Chili Beans, Hot sauce1 can, 16 oz, Dark red kidney beans
Makes 8, 1 cup servings
Brown ground beef and chopped onion together, make sure gnd beef is broken up into fine pieces - drain.
Add in all spices, mix in well
Pour in 2 cups of the blended tomatoes (add more for a more tomato taste, less for a more beef taste)
Add in chopped peppers - simmer for 15 minutes. Mixture will be very thick.
Add all the beans, juice included. (if thinner chili is desired, add beer to suit.
Simmer for 2 to 3 hours
