3 Bean Chili

2 15oz cans pinto beans2 15oz can black beans1 15oz can red kidney beans2 tbs chipotle chili powder1.5 tbs ground cumin3 cloves diced garlic1 large yellow or red diced bell pepper2 hatch or anaheim green chilis, seeded and diced1 pasilla or poblano chili, seeded and diced1 large onion, diced1 4oz can hatches diced green chilis2 lbs ground beef, extra lean2 tbs canola oil2 14.5oz cans diced tomatoes1 10.5oz can beef broth, reduced sodium
Put diced chilis, peppers, onion and garlic in a large dutch oven over medium high heat with 2 tbs canola oil. Cook until softened. Drain and rinse beans and add to dutch oven with canned tomatoes and beef broth.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain excess oil and add ground cumin, onion powder, garlic powder and chili powders. Add mixture to the large dutch oven containing bean mixture. Let simmer on low heat for 30-45 minutes to mix flavors. Taste and adjust seasonings. Add hot sauce to individual tastes.
