Colorado Chili

1 Green Bell Pepper chopped1 Onion chopped2 tomatoes chopped1/2 cup of crumbled bacon1 pound of stew beef1 can of pureed Tomatoes1 tbsp of chili powder1 tbsp of taco mix1/2 cup of beef broth
In a Slow Cooker, place peppers, onions, and bacon in a thin layer along the bottom.
Flavor beef with salt and pepper, sear on all sides. Place this on top of your first layer.
Whisk together pureed tomatoes, taco mix, chili powder, and beef stock.
Pour Mixture as the top layer in the slow cooker.
Cook on High for 4 hours. Makes 6 1 cup servings
