Jiffy Corn Bread Mix - 1 box1/4 c. - sugar1 Tbsp - country crock spread
Follow the directions on the side of the box for Johnny Cakes. Add 1/4 cup sugar to the batter and pour into an 8x8 greased, buttered pan. (Glass bakes the best) Follow the baking directions on the box. When done, remove from oven. Prick the top of the corn bread numerous times with a tooth pick. Spread butter over the top of the corn bread. I estimated the amount of butter in the recipe because there is no clear amount of how much you spread on the pan and how much you spread on top of the finished corn bread.
Serve warm.
