Ingredients
4 cups Sliced Cooking Apples.5 cup flour whole wheat.5 cup old fashioned oats.5 cup un packed brown sugar1 T ground cinnamon1 t ground cloves1 t ground ginger
Directions
6 3/4cup servings
put sliced apples in baking pan. in bowl mix togehter flour, oats, sugar and spices. then cust in the butter until fine crumbs form. sprinkle oat mixture over apples. bake in 350 degree oven 35 mins or until golden brown.

    This was very quick and easy to make. Made the house smell delicious while baking, too! It's missing the quantity for the butter - I used about 3/4 cup. I think 1 tsp for the cloves was a little too much, so I would cut back on that to about 1/2 tsp next time I think. - 10/14/07
