Mrs. Needleman's Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Ingredients
Topping: 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 cup soft butter.Cake:3/4 cup butter (sweet)1-1/2 cup sugar3 eggs3 cups flour2 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. salt1 tsp. baking soda1 cup buttermilk
Directions
Cream butter and sugar. Beat 5 minutes (less on a Kitchen-Aid mixer)
Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat 8 minutes (less on a Kitchen-Aid mixer)
Sift dry ingredient and add alternately with milk, ending with dry. Beat 3 minutes (Less with Kitchen-Aid mixer)

Grease 10 inch tube pan (Pam for baking is good). Add batter in 3 parts alternately with topping - topping last. Chopped pecans or walnuts on top are optional.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes
Remove outer pan
Drizzle (1 cup of sifted confectioners sugar blended with 2 T. orange juice) on top.
