1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup corn meal.5 t salt1 t onion powder1 T packed brown sugar3 t baking powder1 t baking soda.25 cup honey1 egg1 cup soymilk3 T LOL Butter with Canola Oil, melted in the baking dish
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl, and wet ingredients, except butter, in another. Stir seperately.
Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the wet in, mix until the batter just comes together.
Pour the batter into the 9x13 pan of hot butter and stir until the butter is mostly, but not fully, incorporated.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
