No bake peanut butter cocoa oatmeal cookies

Ingredients
2/3 cup white sugar1 Tbsp and 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder2 Tbsp and 2 tsp milk2 Tbsp 2 tsp margarine1/4 tsp vanilla extract1/3 pinch salt2 Tbsp and 2 tsp creamy peanut butter1 cup quick oats
Directions
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, cocoa, milk and margaine. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, salt, peanut butter and oats.
2. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow cookies to cool for at least 1 hour. Store in airtight container.
Makes 12 cookies.

    I made & ate alot of these cookies when growing up. This version doesn't have as much margarine to cut down the fat. I can't wait to try these again. Thanks for this low-fat version! - 2/2/10
