Soy Oat Waffles

Ingredients
1 3/4 C. Oats1 cup soaked soybeans2 1/4 c Water1T. Olive oil1Tsp Sea Salt
Directions
Place all ingredients in blender. Blend till smooth. Let stand for 30 minutes to thicken. Bake in Pam coated waffle iron for 10 - 15 minutes depending on the heat of your waffle iron.

    Wonderful! I grew up with these out of the old Oats, Peas, Beans & Barley cookbook. Work great with my Oster ceramic waffle iron. Go well with sweet or savory toppings. Freeze & reheat in toaster! Strawberry chia seed jam & peanut butter! Or use garlic olive oil & rosemary for sandwich waffles. - 10/6/16
