Ingredients
Broccoli in Garlic Sauce(Chinese style)1. In a small bowl, combine the following and set aside:� 3 tablespoons corn starch � 1/4 cup soy sauce � 1 cup cold water 2. Saut� 3-5 minutes:� 3 tablespoons canola oil� 1 onion, cut in large pieces� 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced � 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)3. Add the following and continue to saut� until broccoli is almost tender:� 2 bags broccoli, parboiled4. Add soy sauce mixture to the broccoli and continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the sauce is clear.Note: If you want, you can parboil the broccoli in vegetable stock or in chicken-like stock.
