Mom's Homemade Cornbread

1 1/2 cup Martha White Self-rising Corn Meal with Hot Rize1/4 cup self-rising white flour2 cups Kroger Cultured Lowfat Buttermilk1 egg1/3 cup vegetable oil1/4 cup vegetable oil, removed
Preheat oven to 425 and pour 1/4 cup vegetable oil into a round pan (a cast iron skillet works best). Place skillet into the oven while the oven preheats in order to allow the oil to get hot. Mix all other incredients together. Once oven is preheated and oil is hot, carefully pour the mixture into the hot oil. Carefully place back into the oven and cook for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
