2 lbs meat, 1-15 oz can of tomato sauce, 1/4 cup of chopped onion, 1/2 cup rice, 1 cup milk, 3 or 4 bay leaves and sugar - cover - 325 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours.
preheat oven to 325 degrees.
combine, meat, milk, rice and onions, (you could add other seasonings if you wanted here) into meatballs.
in a casserole dish, place porcupines in a single layer, cover with tomato sauce (NOT pasta sauce) and bay leaves and sprincle a pinch of sugar to cut the acidity of the tomato sauce. cover and bake for 60 to 90 minutes.
makes about 6 servings depending on the size of the meatballs
