Ingredients
3 links italian sausage (skin removed) 3/4 c. chopped onion48 oz. fat free chicken broth2 med. russet potatoes, sliced1 c. fat free half and half3 tsp. minced garlic3 c. chopped kaleSalt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to taste
Directions
Brown sausage in skillet, drain. (turkey sausage can be substituted for even lower fat). Wash potatoes, leave skin on, cut in half lengthwise, then slice into 1/4 inch slices. Add broth, potatoes, sausage, onion, garlic to pan and simmer until potatoes are nearly cooked. Add chopped kale, simmer for 10-15 minutes, then add cream. Heat, serve.
