1 tsp. Dijon Mustard2 tsp. vinegar (balsamic or red wine) or 1 Tbsp. lemon juicedash of salt and pepper1/2 tsp. sugar or honey (optional)1 Tbsp. good organic olive oil

Starting with the mustard, then adding spices, vinegar and oil (in that order), shake everything together in a small glass jar.
