Brown Basmati Congee

Ingredients
1 cup brown basmati10 cups water6 sticks imitation crab (or your choice of meat)
Directions
1. Bring rice and 8 cups water to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and cook on a low boil for 2 hours.
3. Add imitation crab (or your choice of meat) and veggies you would like to add halfway through.
4. Add the remaining two cups of water if the congee gets too thick.
5. Serve with garnish such as diced scallions or carrots.
