Pasta with Clam Sauce (Pasta con Salsa di Vongole)

Ingredients
1 (9 oz) pkg Safeway Select Fresh Linguine2 (6.5 oz) cans Snow's Chopped Clams, drained3 T fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 T dried)1 lb tomatoes, skinned, seeded & chopped1 T capers, finely chopped2 cloves garlic, minced3 T olive oil
Directions
Cook pasta according to pkg directions. While cooking, start the sauce.

Place oil in large frying pan. When hot, add capers & garlic & saute gently -- don't brown.

Add tomatoes & parsley & cook 5 minutes over gentle heat.

Add clams to tomato sauce -- season with salt & pepper, if desired. Cook uncovered to heat clams

Pour sauce over drained pasta & toss to blend.
