Grandma's sweet potatoes (Yams, really)

Ingredients
yams, 1 per personbutter to dot top of casserolebrown sugar to sprinkle on the marshmallowscinnamon to tastelarge marshmallows
Directions
Peel and cut yams into 1-1/2" chunks
boil until barely soft and drain
arrange yams in a casserole or cake pan
dot the top with butter
sprinkle with brown sugar
sprinkle with cinnamon
bake for ~20 minutes, until butter and sugar are melted
remove from oven and arrange large marshmallows to mostly cover top of casserole
replace in oven and watch--marshmallows will plump and brown quickly

serve immediately
