2.5 lb Beef Chuck Roast3 med potatos 1/2 med onion2 large carrots2 cans Stewed tomatoes1/2 - 1 cup water2 tbsp dried parsley
I place the chuck roast in the bottom of the crock pot
chop onions potatos and carrots and place them on top
dump 2 can's of tomatoes on top
then add 1/2 - 1 cup of water (enough so that you can see the liquids at the carrot/potato layer)
add 2 tbsp of parsley (and salt and pepper if you like) and let cook for the 8-10 hours you'll be gone for work.
You'll come home to the wonderful smell of a savory home cooked meal that makes 6 delicious servings.
