Linguine with Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients
1 tsp kosher salt1 lb liguine3 tbsp butter( unsalted if you like)2& 1/2 tbsp good olive oil1&1/2 tbsp chopped garlic( 4 cloves )1 lb lrg shrimp( peeled & deveined)1/4 tsp bl. pepper1/3 cup fresh parsley1/2 lemon, zest grated1/4 c. lemon juice(2 lemons)1/8 tsp red pepper flakes1 lemon sliced for garnish (optional)
Directions
Makes 4 servings

Boil pasta according to instructions on box
add olive oil and butter to large skillet, let get warm
next add garlic to pan cook for about a minute( don't burn)
add red pepper flakes to pan cook for about 30 seconds
now add shrimp, salt, black pepper, saute until shrimp turn pink ( about 4-5 min.) stirring often.
Remove from heat, add parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, and lemon slices, mix well.

Drain cooked pasta, combine shrimp and pasta all together
incorporate well.
SERVE. ( even better if made a day ahead )
