Pineapple Cake (Fruit Cake)

1/2 lb. (1 c.) margarine1 c. granulated sugar3 large eggs3 c. white flour2 tsp. baking powderPinch Salt1 lb. golden/light raisins1 lb. glace mixed fruit1/2 lb. green glace cherries1/2 lb. red glace cherries1 - 16 oz. tin of crush pineapple (do not drain)
Pour the pineapple over the fruit, stir well, and let stand over night.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Cream the margarine and sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then add the flour mixture. Mix roughly and stir in the fruit.
Pour into a greased and floured bunt pan. Spread out evenly.
Bake at 300 F for 2 hours, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
