Ingredients
Directions
32 ounces Chicken Broth16 ounces Lentils (any kind can be used)14.5 ounce can of Diced TomatoesYou can also add the following:Ground Cumin & Coriander Fresh Coriander leaves Lg can of Tuna, Drained.
Rinse the lentils and look for any stones/small rocks. Cook cleaned lentils with the Chicken broth and the diced tomatoes. No additional salt is needed since the chicken broth & tomatoes already have salt. Add water to thin soup if too thick.
Once cooked, you can adjust flavor by adding some ground cumin and coriander for a more Indian taste. I will also add a large can of Tuna to the lentils. You can serve this with Coriander leaves on top of the soup and some bread or Indian Roti/Chapatti.
