Peanut Butter BBQ Sacue

Ingredients
1/4 olive oil1 med. yellow onion, minced2 Tbsp minced garlic1/2 cup tomato paste1/2 cup honey1/4 cup reduced fat peanut butter1/2 tsp hot sauce1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes1/4 cup water3 Tbsp cider vinegar2 Tbsp light brown sugar3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce1 Tbsp black pepper
Directions
Heat the oil and vegetable broth over medium heat. Add the onion and minced garlic and saute until translucent. Reduce heat to low and and add the tomato paste, honey, peanut butter, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce and pepper. Add 1/4 cup water and mix until well combined. Let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Allow to cool before using.

Yield: 12 Servings (approximately 3 Tbsp per serving)
