- Minutes to Cook:
- Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients
Directions
1 bag (12 oz) of Cranberries1/2 cup (or less) of sugarApprox 1/4 - 1/2 cup of Truvia (about 15 packets) or other sugar substitute (I just prefer Truvia)1 cup of water
On the stove, combine 1 cup of water, the sugar and truvia on medium heat.
When it comes to a boil, add the whole bag of cranberries and bring to a boil. When it's at a boil, lower the heat and cook for approx. 10 minutes. You will hear the berries "pop."
Original recipe is from the Ocean Spray Cranberries bag - I just adapted the sugar content for my diabetic dad, and calorie watching me! :)

This sounds great! Perhaps I might remove all of the sugar and use Splenda if I try this out! :) - 12/26/09

That's an idea - but I had some "anti-naturalists" at Christmas dinner. So I compromised!
