Alfredo Sauce - GERD Friendly, Low Fat

Ingredients
2 Tbl. butter1 oz. light cream cheese.5 cup fat free half and half2 cup fat free half and half2 Tbl. flour1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
1. Combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup FF half and half, and flour in a small mixing bowl. Beat until well blended. Slowly pour in remaining 1 cup half and half and beat until smooth.

2. Melt 2 Tbl. butter in large, nonstick sauce pan over medium heat.

3. Add the milk mixture and continue to heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened.

4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, adding salt and better to taste if desired.

    So, I didn't mean to rate this recipe a "1". I accidentally touched the wrong star. I rate this recipe a 5. The flavor was just right, but I had to double up on the measurements just to coat the noodles.👍🏽 - 3/14/17
